Finally!

Thanksgiving break has FINALLY given me some time to put together this video. Here's the doll room! Not everything is included, because the room simply isn't big enough. Enjoy!

Who Needs A Party?

I do!! Life has been ridiculous lately, so I've had to put some doll things on the side. The Doll Room is still a work in progress--but is far more organized. It WILL be done before Thanksgiving!

In the meantime, though, I have learned how to make these ADORABLE doll-sized party hats!

These are the cutest things...

but are so tedious to make! I have to admit, I cheated a little but not in my favor. I hand-sewed it, rather than machine sewing. I know for next time, though. After about an hour of work, this was my result:

So cute! And I'm using them as a promotion for my doll hospital--even better!

On a different note, the doll room is painted! It will be organized tomorrow and by the end of this week, a video will be posted.

Things are happening!

Painting has begun!

This picture doesn't do the color justice. A beautiful shade of pink is taking over. The room is still a disaster. After painting, I will be dusting and organizing to no end.

This is going to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL in the end! Cannot wait!

The Doll Room is Being Re-Modeled!

I'm so glad that my mother is good at painting, because I am not. I am the furthest thing from "good" at painting. I get more paint on the floor and myself combined than I do on the walls. The doll room will be painted a beautiful shade of "dishy coral."

Before painting, though, everything must be either packed up or moved to the center of the room. This has proved to be quite a process. As of tonight, the doll room looks like this:

Messy, unorganized chaos. I have yet to see how this is going to come together in the end. What in the world did I get myself into?

Dolls Love Football, Too.

Thanks to a wonderful uncle, I received this adorable Packers outfit. It's one of my favorites.
Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, I have adorable NFL cups. They're pretty cute, and I'm looking forward to having all 32. I can only imagine how he feels having to stop at the quarter machine when he goes out for lunch with his co-workers. What a guy.

AG...slowly taking over my life.

Just a random bit of doll thought for the day.

Under the advice of my professor, I added the "doll hospital" to my resume. I got quite a few positive comments on it.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out a more efficient way to lay out the doll room. I need a lot of muscle and a little bit of time. Everything will be taken out and I will be starting over from scratch.

I made these with my mini-me awhile back, but am finally getting around to posting about it. They turned out pretty darn cute. Although, anything pink & purple is always pretty darn cute.

Mini was more excited that she "learned how to tie a double knot!" than anything. Regardless, these are easy enough for a 6 year old to make and don't take long at all.

Yaaaay! Took a nice little vacation to St. Louis this weekend. Main reason for going? AG store. (Half kidding...) I have yet to incorporate my wonderful purchases into my collection, but here they are:

Saige doll
Molly's tea set
St. Louis Tee
Saige's Sweater Outfit

...and...drumroll, please...

Saige's Hot Air Balloon. I have yet to figure out where the beast is going to live.

So thankful that I have a wonderful boyfriend that lugged it all through the mall :)

School started today. I'm not a huge fan of it, but it needs to be done. I've had very little time to do anything doll related. It's a very sad day when I don't have doll time. I have found some excellent deals on BNIB Bitty Baby stuff though! $10 for a complete, new in box set ALWAYS makes my day! (Okay, week...)

On another note, I am very excited to visit AGP St. Louis in the next few weeks.

All of my AG stuff is conveniently in one room. My loving parents have allowed me to use the extra bedroom in the house as a "doll room." It's ended up being a win-win situation. I get all of my dolls in one room, and my dad/brother don't have to find dolls randomly displayed around the house.

All of my JLY/GOTY clothes has finally been organized and hung up. There have been a few additions since this picture was taken, though. Eventually, I'll need to make space for Bitty Baby, Bitty Twins, and historical doll clothing.

Introduction!

I'm starting this blog to share my personal collection with the world. Well, not literally. But in the form of pictures. It will also help me to keep track of how my collection grows over time. All of this is a work in progress, because there are never enough hours in a day.

To start with, a photo of (almost) all of my (and my mom's) dolls. There's 1 missing from this pic.
